Loft Conversion and Bespoke Wardrobes

Sean Stack - Louka Fine FinishHello everyone,

Once again, I find myself writing about the weather but hasn’t it been glorious? Once the thunderstorms had cleared, of course.

Well, I am delighted to bring you finished pictures of the loft conversion in Shropshire as well as an exclusive “hand shot by me” video tour of the finished room.

As you will know if you are a regular visitor to our website, or indeed, if you follow us on Twitter, we work with clients from design stage to craft and create high-end fitted furniture – as well as inside and outside buildings – to completely transform their living space.

This particular loft space transformation incorporates bespoke wardrobes, a lovely oak window-seat with storage and a luxury en-suite bathroom.

So, far from being an unloved attic, this room really is a room to be proud of; and one that will serve a purpose.

If you would like to find out how your house could be transformed then please do not hesitate to contact me on 07886880963 for an initial chat – you will be surprised at how cost-effective this sort of transformation work is when comparing it to, say, an extension.

Sean’s Blog: Finishing Touches

Sean Stack - Louka Fine Finish

Hi all,

Hope you are all well and dare I say it, still enjoying the sunshine?

My team of expert craftsmen have been finishing off the bespoke kitchen refurbishment project that I blogged about last week.

I have had a very busy week working on a major project and have just popped in to check on progress. It is only a quick update today but all I can say is that I’m proud of what we have created (final pics to follow) and for me, it’s the little details that count.

We aren’t called Louka Fine Finish for nothing – it’s those finishing touches that make a refurbished kitchen look like a truly top-end, new & bespoke kitchen. With items like our hand-crafted kitchen draining board, it’s obvious to anyone entering the new space that this isn’t an off-the-peg kitchen.

It’s a one off, bespoke piece.

And no, we won’t tell anyone that the cost of a Louka Fine Finish refurbishment is – in most cases, obviously depending on requirements – as kind to the pocket as a mass-produced kitchen that you will find in 100′s of other houses across the land.

Barn Conversion Update

clip_image004_thumb.jpgWell what a week! We have had a virtual heat wave and then constant downpours; it seems like the UK weather doesn’t know whether it’s coming or going!

To cheer myself up and try and rid myself of this dreary weather I am getting a new mountain bike – details to be revealed at a later date….

Back to business, then. Specifically, an update on the barn conversion that we have been working on and writing about.

The drawings that we bought you in our previous barn blog are now at the structural engineers and calculations are also being done. A trial hole is being dug so that we can prepare designs for the foundation slab, too.

We handle all the design and build for our clients and – where necessary – we employ external, professional (and insured!) consultants, like engineers for example.

At this exciting point in the project, I am really looking forward to getting the barn build underway and incorporating some really cool, contemporary features to make the building totally unique.

After all, that’s what we do best.

I will bring you more details when I have them – in the meantime, have a great week and try to make the most of the great British summertime weather!
